Made by Atlas World Music Traditional Instruments from around the globe More about this Item:
This Atlas Cajon features adjustable front plate screws and internal snares and bells for providing lively percussive noises. It measures 48cm by 30cm by 29cm Possibly the most widely used Afro-Peruvian percussion instrument of the 20th century! It is speculated that the Cajon was invented by Peruvian slaves in the 1800's and it has since become very popular throughout the Americas, especially in Cuba where it is used to provide percussion for Rhumba music.
